I did order the other versions of the Rob Zombie cuts, and I ordered the 2018 movie as well as plan to order Halloween Kills, but it's a shame this was made before those were made. Also, I popped in part 4 to see if it had this infamous audio desync issue, but unless it's at a specific part, there was nothing wrong. I love the case itself, and I love how all of the disc's boxes themselves have all the original artwork for the cover. It's just so satisfying to see all the movies together like this, and the boxes are very pretty. As for this collection, I got mine in incredible condition, and wow does it look good. I have yet to watch all of these, but oh boy do I plan to soon. Even his bad movies as long as he is onscreen. I just love Michael Myers, and everything about him. HALLOWEEN has been copied, parodied and even turned into a franchise of its own, but the original is still considered the best of the bunch. The film also made a star out of Jamie Lee Curtis and turned the slasher movie into a viable, successful genre. Produced for very little money and a tight shooting schedule, HALLOWEEN was a stunning success when it was released. Jamie Lee Curtis, in her first role, plays the resourceful babysitter who is chased by the killer on Halloween night.
Locked away for many years in a mental hospital Michael escapes one night and returns to his hometown to continue his killing spree. An exercise in simple, pure horror, HALLOWEEN takes us into the world of a mad killer, Michael Myers, who at a very young age stabbed his older sister to death. Perhaps the most influential and successful independent film ever made, HALLOWEEN is the movie that put director John Carpenter on the map as a viable filmmaker.
